Retirement Planning
Retirement planning is
planning for the inevitable; we are all
going to retire eventually. As a matter of
fact, we are in the beginning stages of the
biggest retirement phase of our history.
Approximately 77
million Americans are going to be retiring
over the next 10 years*, this is known as the
Baby Boomer generation. Most of the boomers
do not have the luxury that their parents
had of guaranteed pensions to fund their
retirement years. We have Social Security,
but most experts agree that Social Security
benefits alone may not be enough to fund our
retirement.
It is estimated that
about half or more of our retirement
income will have to come from some sort of
self- funded source. These sources are our
personal savings, IRA’s and 401 (k) plans.
Saving enough for retirement is a huge
problem. As studies suggest, most Americans
have not saved enough to retire on.
The question is, have
you saved enough for retirement? If
you have, do you have an income distribution
plan? Most Americans under estimate their
retirement income needs. This is why at
Arndt Financial Services we take a close
look at what you have, what you will need
and what you are looking to do during your
golden years. We take a careful approach to
planning for your golden years. We will work
with you to devise a plan to meet your
needs.
